In this special podcast, we interview John Kemp, a long-time advocate for all individuals with disabilities. When John was growing up using four prostheses in Bismarck South Dakota, he had no specific plan to spend his career creating awareness of and opportunities for the disability community. But a challenging undergraduate course of study followed by an internship with a government agency's Office of General Counsel led him to law school and set him on a path that currently finds him leading the Viscardi Center. Listen to this fascinating discussion with someone who has spent the last 40+ years in the trenches making the lives of all people with disabilities - including those of us in the limb loss/disability community - better.
